ANNOUNCEMENTS!

A New Publication from the TSBVI Curriculum Department is now available!

The title of the book is positioned above a mound of white yarn with twelve smaller balls of colored yarn on top of it. The TSBVI logo and the names of the authors are also included on the cover.

Artful Instruction, Making Art Accessible for Individuals who are Blind or Have Low Vision is intended for teachers who work with students who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision, including those with complex access needs, and their families. Bringing insight into both the why and the how of creating art, Artful Instruction provides an overview of ways art supports the Expanded Core Curriculum, discusses methods for making art and art processes accessible, and presents example lesson plans and resources to support art instruction.
