Single Switch Software

I had promised teachers on my campus some resources for switch accessible games.  The first website is called One Switch, and is located in the UK. It has games, switch interfaces, dyi switches, software, links, and so much more.  Check out the Library page, which has a link to 100+ switch accessible games. Not all of the games are accessible for all students, but have some fun looking through the possibilities.  Here is the link: www.oneswitch.org.uk.

The next site is in the US, but their parent site is in the UK  and has not only switch accessible software, but story building games.  The story will be different for each choice the student makes in the adventure. Here is the link to the choose and tell games: http://www.inclusivetlc.com/. Don't forget to check out all of the other wonderful software and hardware available on this site.

The next site is for a free switch accessible assessment tool.  It can be used as an activity, but it has an assessment tool built into it.  The name of the software is SenSwitcher and is written in HTML, which means it will play on any computer.  It loads like a web browser and then gives you choices of leveled activities. You can use it online, but I highly recommend that you download the software and the teacher documents. Here is the link to both the software and the documents: Senswitcher.

The last site has not only free switch games, but also stories and so much more. It is called Priory Woods School, and is an all age special school working with pupils with severe learning difficulties and those with profound and multiple needs. As I said before, there is so much information available on this site that I can't even list it all! Here is the link to their resources page: Priory Woods School.

That is by no means all of the switch accessible software and hardware, but it is a good place to start.
