About the Workshop

Do you have a child in middle school or high school who will need long-term services and support in the community, and for whom traditional paths to college and career may not seem like the best fit? If so, we have a weekend training for you.

This training will help families of students with visual and multiple disabilities and complex access needs, including those who are deafblind.

Together, we will

  • Explore new ideas for planning life after high school.
  • Learn how to start a person-centered transition plan.
  • Share resources and experiences with other families.

This event will be hands-on and interactive. Families will imagine what a successful adult life could look like for their child and learn how to find and ask for the tools and resources needed to get there.

Registration

Interpreting for languages other than English will be available for those registered on or before February 20, 2026.
