About
Texas Focus is a dynamic, biennial conference hosted by TSBVI Outreach in even-numbered years—created to inspire and elevate everyone who supports students who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision. The event brings together hundreds of professionals, educators, vocational rehabilitation specialists, family members, and university students from across Texas and beyond to explore foundational skills, discover new research, and dive into emerging trends that shape our field.
With engaging keynote speakers, hands-on breakout sessions, and interactive technology demonstrations, attendees can design a learning experience that fits their needs and goals. Texas Focus also offers networking opportunities among colleagues, exhibitors, and families, helping participants strengthen connections and build community.
To support ongoing professional growth, participants can earn continuing education credits (ACVREP and SBEC) while staying current on best practices.
