Uncle Ben’s Spanish Rice

For two packages:

Stovetop Instructions:

  1. In medium saucepan, bring 3½ cups water, 2 tablespoons margarine and contents of package to a boil.
  2. Boil, cover, reduce heat (low), simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, set aside 5 minutes.

Microwave Instructions:

  1. Combine 3½ cups water, 2 tablespoons margarine and contents of package in a 3-quart microwave-safe casserole.
  2. Cover, microwave on HIGH 10 to 12 minutes or until rice is tender.
  3. Let stand about 5 minutes.
