Cinnamon Twists
Ingredients:
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 can biscuits
- 2 Tbsp. chopped nuts, optional
Instructions:
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon in small mixing bowl and set aside.
- Melt butter and set aside.
- Roll each biscuit into a rope shape.
- Bring ends together and press to seal forming a circle.
- Dip into butter.
- Dip into sugar mixture.
- Twist into a figure eight.
- Place on greased baking pan.
- Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Serve.
Yield: Makes 8 twists.
