Texas Families Together Weekly Web Meetings (Tuesdays)
Families with children who are visually impaired or deafblind, let’s gather during this COVID-19 time! Join for an hour of sharing, connecting, and encouraging as only families can do with each other. This is YOUR time, so settle your kiddos in an activity where they can be safely entertained, grab a snack and a drink, and give yourself this hour!

TSBVI Outreach Programs provide information, training and support to families, professionals in education and rehabilitation, and community members involved in the lives of individuals with visual impairments or deafblindness, who range in age from birth through twenty-two years old. Our focus is on students and programs in local communities throughout Texas. We bring most of our services directly to you.
What Services Do We Provide?
We provide a variety of services! Outreach assistance is available at little or no charge. Choose the program you need to support family members and professionals involved with students with visual impairments or deafblindness:
- Individualized local consultations to families, schools, and other related agencies or community organizations
- Training for families, professionals and paraprofessionals through face-to-face workshops and conferences around the state, video-conferencing, and web-based technologies
- Resources on visual impairments and deafblindness such as articles, on-line videos, a newsletter, American Printing House for the Blind (APH) materials, and assistive technology on loan
- Partnering with local, state and national agencies and organizations to help build quality local programs for students with visual impairments and deafblindness
How Do You Make a Request for Our Services?
