Microwave Caramel Popcorn

Caramel Coating Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients above.
  2. Bring to a boil in the microwave. Approximately 2 minutes.
  3. Take mixture out of the microwave and add ½ teaspoon baking soda and stir real quick…it will look foamy.
  4. Pour this mixture over the popped corn in the brown grocery bag.
  5. Fold bag down and shake, then put back into the microwave. Set for 1-1/2 minutes on high.
  6. Take it back out and shake again.
  7. Put it back in and cook for another 1-1/2 minutes.
  8. Shake again…and pour onto a cookie sheet to cool, then break apart and store

Note: If you don’t allow it to cool thoroughly, it will be soggy.
