Meatballs and Penne (Crock Pot)
Ingredients for Meatballs:
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- ½ cup milk
- 1lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon salt
Ingredients for Red Sauce:
- 2 cups water
- 3 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 15 oz. Can diced tomatoes
- Cloves of garlic
- ¼ Cup fresh basil
- ½ teaspoon sugar (to cut acidity)
- 1lb penne
Instructions:
- Form meatballs. Mix all meatball ingredients together, make into teaspoon-sized balls, and place on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until cooked. Drain excess juices.
- Put all sauce ingredients, penne and meatballs in the crock pot and mix together.
- Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or until noodles are tender.
