Martha White’s Cornbread Mix



  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Grease 8-inch ovenproof skillet or square pan. Place in oven for 7 to 8 minutes or until hot.
  3. Combine cornbread mix, 1 egg, 2/3 cup milk in a small mixing bowl; stir until smooth. Pour into hot pan.
  4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

TIP: For thicker cornbread, grease a 9-inch square pan. Combine 2 (6-ounce) packages cornbread mix, 1-1/3 cups milk and 2 eggs. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
