Homemade Biscuits (2)



  1. Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
  2. Cut in shortening.
  3. Make a well.
  4. Add milk.
  5. Stir quickly with a fork.
  6. Form into a ball.
  7. Turn onto lightly floured surface.
  8. Knead 10-12 times.
  9. Roll dough to ½-inch thick.
  10. Dip biscuit cutter into flour and cut straight down.
  11. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 12 minutes.

Yield: 10 biscuits
