  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Add water mixture to make a dough.
  3. Make 1 inch balls out of the dough.
  4. Roll each ball into thin tortilla shape.
  5. Melt lard or vegetable shortening in a skillet.
  6. When the shortening is hot, fry the buñuelo on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain on a paper towel.
  8. Sprinkle both sides with cinnamon sugar.
