Families

Navigating educational resources and opportunities for families with children who are blind, visually impaired, and deafblind can be complicated. We’re here to help!

TSBVI Sites and Sounds

The Family Lynx organization has worked in partnership with TSBVI staff to create a video titled, “The Sites and Sounds of the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.” This tribute to our campus is a real gift to our community and we appreciate all the work involved in its creation.

Student Success

TSBVI students have a variety of opportunities on campus and in their home communities. These are some examples of ways they stay engaged in their education.

Ways to Get Involved

Family engagement can mean simply “liking” a Facebook page or it can mean attending a statewide conference. We value whatever’s best for you, your child, and your family.

Conference attendees visit with TSBVI employees at a table with resources, curriculum, and a trifold board. In the background, other attendees and staff visit and wander a conference lobby.
