Celebrate White Cane Day with TSBVI on October 15, 2025! The event will be held on the campus of the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired located at 1100 W. 45th Street, Austin, TX 78756. Parking is limited and attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, bus, or use rideshare. Join us for a petting zoo, music, food, obstacle course, bounce house, face painting, skateboarding, Bonzo the Clown, and more! White Cane Day fun walk/marches

The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Texas Workforce Commission march assemble at 8:45 a.m. Meet at one of the following locations to join the march

  • Central Market, 4001 N. Lamar Blvd.
  • The Pit Barbecue, 4707 Burnet Road
  • Triangle Station, 47th @ W. Guadalupe

9:00 a.m. March begins to The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 1100 W. 45th St Austin, TX 78756.
