What is Family Recharge Zone?
A blend of family-picked and family-focused training followed by a conversation exclusively for adult family members with children and adults who are blind, visually impaired, or deafblind (combined vision and hearing loss).
November 3: Join us for a conversation about how to involve your children and adolescents in holiday-related activities and festivities.
During our time together we hope to share ideas, strategies, and tips to consider when gathering for the holidays. Come share your pearls of wisdom that have worked for including your blind, low vision, and deafblind family member because we can all learn from each other.
For 6:30–8:00 Gathering: Please feel free to have your entire family be part of meeting each other (first 5–10 minutes of our time together).
Need foreign language or sign language interpreting? Texas families, if you need accommodations for interpreting, then you must register for each session by Monday, October 3 to allow us time to secure those services for you.
