Invite a Family Friend!

You’re invited to Family Recharge Zone, a blend of family-picked and family-focused training followed by a conversation exclusively for adult family members with children and adults who are blind, visually impaired, or deafblind (combined vision and hearing loss).

Have you dreamed about what would make your growing child’s day after they’re done with public education? What would make them smile when they wake up every day?

Join us for an introduction to day programs and housing options for individuals with disabilities, including general guidance on where to search and potential funding sources. We’ll highlight a few existing models in Texas and share examples of family-led efforts to create individualized and group programs. Our goal is to have interactive conversations to spark ideas and connect family members with dreams, fellow families, resources and next steps for exploring what’s possible.

ASL Interpreting and Spanish Interpreting will be available for those registered on or before Monday, March 30, 2026.
