You are invited to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Austin’s White Cane Day on October 12, 2022! The event will be held at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired located at 1100 W. 45th Street, Austin, TX 78756.
20th Anniversary Live Event Program
Run
2022 Austin White Cane Day fun walk/run begins between 7:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. meet inside Republic Square Park behind all the southbound bus stops along Guadalupe at 422 Guadalupe Street.
Marches
Travis Association for the Blind’s march begins at 8:00 a.m. meet at City Hall. At 8:15 a.m. march begins to the Capital.
Texas Workforce Commission and Texas School for Blind march meets at 8:45 a.m. Meet at one of the following locations:
- Walgreens, 4501 Guadalupe St
- Central Market, 4001 N. Lamar Blvd.
- The Pit Barbecue, 4707 Burnet Road
- Triangle Station, 47th @ W. Guadalupe
9:00 a.m. march begins- Walk to Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 1100 W. 45th St Austin, TX 78756.
