Cheerleading

Our cheerleaders attend all sports events, White Cane Day, Pep Rallies, and compete at the South Central Association of Schools for the Blind in January.

A Cheerleader is a member of a team that performs organized cheering, chanting and dancing in support of a sports team. Here at TSBVI we have a couple of cheer squads. The Wildcat Cheerleader performs for on campus activities. The competition Cheerleaders perform on campus and at SCASB competition. We also have a Wildcat Mascot.

The cheerleaders practice twice a week. The team follows all safety rules of the N.F.H.S. If a student is interested in becoming a cheerleader, try-outs are normally in September.

The cheer squad stands in the quad with balloons and posters for White Cane day.
