 All of our live webinars have been approved for continuing education credit (ACVREP and SBEC).  Instructions on how to register and apply for CEU credit for live webinars are provided here.

You may access these webinars via computer, iPad or iPhone. The audio portion of these webinars is only accessible via a phone.  If you have never attended one of these webinars previously, you will want to enter the room about a half-hour ahead of time in case you need to download the Zoom App and make sure it is working.  Links to enter the webinar and handouts will be sent via email to registered participants only.  

If you miss the broadcast, most of our webinars will be archived in our Online Learning site.  The webinars are posted for delayed viewing usually within 2 weeks after the original broadcast date.  Instructions on how to apply for CEU credit for archived webinars are provided here.  We also have a listing of E-Learning Courses provided via Bridge!

Active Learning Case Studies: Student Centered Planning

September 29, 2020 @ 3:00 to 4:00 PM CST

The purpose of the Study Group this year will be to share case studies and discuss implementation of an Active Learning approach. Using student video and planning documents, participants will collaborate to design effective and meaningful instruction using active learning strategies. Each session will require one volunteer to share information and video of one of their students.

These webinars will not be recorded. Additional Active Learning Study Groups are scheduled for 09/09/2020, 12/01/2020, and 01/26/2021. Interested parties are not required to participate in all four meetings, but it is encouraged. Drop-ins are also welcome!

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will deepen their knowledge of active learning assessment, planning, and instruction.

CVI Study Group

October 12, 2020 @ 3:00 to 4:00 PM CST

Participants will share documents and videos regarding their own students via Google Drive. Participants will discuss newly submitted materials and offer suggestions to share with the community of professionals and parents who would like the opportunity to learn together. Participants will explore suggestions with their student and share how the student responds with the group. Participants will explore topics and resources of interest related to CVI as identified by the group.

These webinars will not be recorded. Additional Active Learning Study Groups are scheduled for 09/09/2020, 12/01/2020, and 01/26/2021. Interested parties are not required to participate in all four meetings, but it is encouraged. Drop-ins are also welcome!

  • Increase knowledge of CVI Range Assessment.
  • Work with peers to brainstorm CVI interventions for their students.
