Electrifying News – Wildcats in the Wild West
“Wildcats in the Wild West” is this year’s prom theme! Prom is Wednesday, April 1st, from 5-9:30p. Students in 11th or 12th grade and within the EXIT program are invited to attend. I’m looking forward to seeing all the glamour and boots!
There is no school on Friday or Monday. Students will travel home for the long weekend on Thursday afternoon and return to campus Monday. School staff have Friday off and Monday is a staff development day.
We have been working with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) all year to hire an officer to be stationed on our campus full-time during the day. This is related to legislation requiring campuses to have an armed guard during school hours. DPS Officer Gabe Masias has been assigned to our campus and is excited to join our community. He will be starting April 1st and more information about him will be shared soon.
I hope those who are celebrating Passover, Good Friday, and/ or Easter this week cherish time with friends and family in their faith.
