Campus Activities Staff Recognition Empower Campus updates

As a reminder, the “Help Desk” can be found on TSBVI’s internal campus info site. Please utilize this feature if you need password support, A/V media support, accessibility support, and more. We especially want to know if you’re unable to use systems, documents, or forms due to inaccessibility, so please be sure to reach out for remediation and assistance.

Patrick Healy was highlighted last week in the McCallum High School student paper as he has taken over the position supporting our students attending part of their day at this local school. We highly value our partnership at Austin ISD allowing students to access their coursework and thanks to Patrick for representing us well. Check it out online.

On September 19th, All Blind Children of TX will be hosting a fundraising event to commemorate their 20th Anniversary. There will be live music, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, for the ticket price of $75 for one or $120 for two. They will have a silent auction with lots of terrific items, a 50-50 raffle and more. The Wildcat Coffee Shop is now up and running! Located in building 607 and open Monday-Thursday from 8:45-10:15, orders can be made in person or online at the Wildcat Coffee Shop Square Site. Excellent coffee at an excellent price from the most excellent baristas!

On August 27th, our student, Kailee, sang the National Anthem at a Round Rock Express game. Please check it out here to pump you up as you start your week. If you haven’t registered to vote, you can stop by the LRC on September 11th between 8a – 4p for our voter registration fair just in time for the November election.
