Electrifying News – Welcome Back All Staff!
Welcome back to the 2022-2023 school year! This morning we enjoyed coffee, donuts, and healthy snacks while I shared campus updates and reminders about PBIS and student empowerment. We also awarded our annual service pins. Congrats to those employees who made the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 year milestones. Your commitment to our students’ success is one of many reasons TSBVI is not a place, it’s a people.
We also celebrated our two Principal of Schools for the Blind (POSB) national award winners. Our 2022 Outstanding Teacher of Students who are Blind/ Visually Impaired is Dori Senatori and our 2022 Outstanding Provider of Outreach Services is Cecilia Robinson. We also recognized our new hires and those employees who have changed roles over the summer. Congratulations all around.
Please remember to complete your Wildcat Training this week and attend the Active Threat Safety Training with options of attending at 2:00 pm today or tomorrow morning at 8:30 am. Thanks to all departments for coordinating multiple weeks of training in preparation for our students’ arrival on Sunday. Student registration will be on August 14th starting at 8:00 am.
