Electrifying News – TSBVI Wildcat Dragons
Congrats to the TSBVI Wildcat Dragons who took to the water this weekend at the Dragon Boat Festival here in Austin! This coming weekend, 3 students (Nate B, Sophia P, Izzi E) will travel to Jacksonville, Illinois to compete in the NCASB (North Central Association of Schools for the Blind) Swim Conference against 7 other schools for the blind. The event will be livestreamed on the Illinois School for the Blind’s Youtube Channel: @ISVIWARRIORS. The conference is on Saturday, May 3rd from 1:30p – 4:30p.
On Thursday, May 1st, the Semi-Modulars will be playing at Central Market on North Lamar at 6:00p. Also, save the date for the 2025 Fiesta celebration on campus Wednesday, May 14th, from 11:25a – 2:15p. Enjoy music, food, and festivities…families are invited, too!
Monday, May 5th, is our annual staff appreciation event. Please join us in the Pavilion north of Building 605 from 2-4p for food, community, and laughs. We’re grateful for the continued dedication and hard work put toward our vision to empower students daily.
