Electrifying News – Touch the Art and More Semi-Modulars!

Today is FINALLY the soccer pitch ribbon-cutting ceremony! Please wear TSBVI swag if you have it. We’ll have musical performances from the Mac Knights Samba and TSBVI Drumline starting at 3:45 p.m., followed by a short ceremony and a soccer clinic with our own alumni and US Paralympic athlete, Ricky Castaneda. The Austin FC Foundation 4ATX, Soccer Assist, and PCSI will all be represented as donors of this project.

Tomorrow, TSBVI will be hosting FIESTA! Be sure to grab lunch in the cafeteria for $4 and join in on the festivities. There will also be a TSBVI retired employee reunion happening in the Outreach Building. We’re looking forward to seeing colleagues and friends.

On Wednesday, the Semi-Modulars will be performing at the Austin Central Library along with student art displayed from 5:00–8:00 p.m. The event will be held on the 3rd floor at 710 W Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78701.

The Fine Arts Department will also be holding their Fourth Annual Touch the Art show on May 7th. They collaborated with local artists for 8 weeks to create some amazing art that can be experienced by all! Check it out from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at the Canopy Arts Complex on 916 Springdale Rd. in Austin.

This month’s episode of A Sense of Texas features the TSBVI Dragonboat Team. Take a listen to this highlighted event online or wherever you get your podcast.

Have a great week!
