Electrifying News – The Spring Play
Students had a successful goalball tournament and track meet this weekend. Our boys track team placed 2nd and many of our students received individual medals. The boys goalball team brought home gold and the girls earned bronze. Thanks to the many, many staff in multiple departments who worked overtime and extra shifts to pull off this large event. I appreciate you!
This weekend our theater department will be the stars of the show. Finding Nemo, Jr. will be presented in the auditorium Thursday at 12:20pm, Friday at 7pm, and Saturday at 7pm. Our spring play is an event you will not want to miss. Break a leg!
Wednesday the 26th is International Dog Guide Day and we appreciate our certified orientation and mobility instructors for educating students about guide dogs. For many who are blind, guide dogs are their key to independence. Wednesday is also Administrative Professionals Day! Thanks to all of our admin support across departments who keep this place running and successful. We would be sunk without you.
STAAR testing continues on campus. Please be sure to remain quiet when traveling within the halls of buildings 600 and 606.
Have a great week!
