Electrifying News – Texas Deafblind Project

Thanks to the cafeteria staff and the Black History Month Committee for an exceptional event last week! The food was delicious and I really loved the movie. If you haven’t seen “The Six Triple Eight” on Netflix, I recommend you check it out.

TSBVI will be testifying at the House Appropriations Committee this morning, February 24th. Representing the school will by myself and our CFO, Ann Du. The public hearing will begin at 10:00a and will include agencies within Article III – Public Education. The livestream will be available online and more information can be found here.

This weekend the Outreach Department and our very own Texas Deafblind Project will be hosting the Deafblind Symposium in Round Rock. Educators and families from around Texas and the country come together every two years to focus on students who are Deafblind. Check out the Project’s webpage if you’d like to learn more about the important work they do.
