Electrifying News – Successful Registration
Registration Day was a success! Thanks for showing up excited to start the school year. Everything went smoothly and we’re all very happy to have students back on campus.
While remembering last week’s training, a few takeaways stuck with me. Layne Pethick’s comments about showing up calm and happy really resonated. While I sip my morning coffee every day, I’m going to try really hard to find this space that is best for kids (and staff). He also shared that positive relationships open the door to accountability, which provides opportunities for growth for ourselves, and our students. So many great messages to kick off a great year.
Like everywhere else, TSBVI has seen utility costs rise year to year. Please be sure to check water faucets and lights when leaving your offices, classrooms, or dorms for the day or the weekend. In addition, if you notice any toilets running or other utility waste, please submit a work order or report to your supervisor ASAP. Your mindfulness will support our budget and is ultimately good for the environment.
