Electrifying News – Staff Development Day

Happy Diwali! The Hindu Festival of Lights is recognized around the world, and by other religions, too. Wishing all who celebrate Diwali and the universal victory of good over evil happiness and prosperity.

Thanks to Comp Programs for providing tacos this morning and for coordinating today’s staff development day. Congrats to Tad Doezema for winning the basketball knockout! I definitely appreciate some wellness activities mid-day.

TSBVI students will be participating at Sports Extravaganza this coming weekend in Irving. Next week, there will be a plethora of Halloween activities. More details to come, but rumor has it the Haunted House is coming back! 

The Council of Schools and Services for the Blind (COSB) recognized outstanding staff award winners last week in Louisville, KY. Congrats again to Yamal Said and James Fain for being selected and celebrated on a national stage.
