Electrifying News – Spring Break

This week, Comprehensive Program students return home on Thursday afternoon to kick off Spring Break, which is officially March 13 – 17th. Join students on Wednesday, March 8th, from 2:30 – 3:45 pm in the gym for Jump Rope for Heart. Also on Wednesday, you can purchase student products at the Farmer’s Market at 2:15 pm in the Quad.

During Spring Break, campus will be bustling with facilities, grounds, and technology projects. The biggest impact will be a campus-wide water shut-off starting around 5:00 pm on Friday the 10th and possibly lasting through Monday the 13th, but it shouldn’t take that long. An email will be sent to notify staff when water is turned back on.

Congrats to Dr. Adam Graves who recently received The Deborah D. Hatton Outstanding Dissertation of the Year Award from the Council for Exceptional Children Division of Visual Impairment and Deafblindness. He was recognized last week at their annual conference for making a significant contribution to the field through extensive study and research in his summative doctoral dissertation.

Congratulations also to those who participated in the Braille Challenge on Saturday and thanks to our staff who supported this important literacy event! Due to Spring Break, the next “Electrifying News” will be March 20th.

Have a great week!
