Electrifying News – SCASB Event in Oklahoma
Please remember to save the date for the ribbon cutting event on Wednesday, April 22nd, for our blind soccer pitch next to the Business Office. Built in partnership with Soccer Assist, the 4ATX Foundation, and PCSI, we will have the first dedicated blind soccer field in the State of Texas. Kicking off the event will be a performance from the McCallum Samba Knights at 3:45p followed by the TSBVI Drumline about 4:00p and the ceremony.
As a reminder, TSBVI is a fragrance free workplace. Please be mindful of staff and student sensitivities to strong fragrances and at a minimum avoid wearing perfume or cologne to work.
This weekend, TSBVI students will travel to the Oklahoma School for the Blind for our South Central Association of Schools for the Blind (SCASB) annual track meet and performing arts competition. Thanks to staff working through the weekend and best of luck to our students!
Finally, STAAR testing continues on campus. Please be mindful of any updates and requirements to ensure students have a safe and successful testing experience.
