Electrifying News – POSB Award Winners
I hope everyone had a chance to put in an order for a TSBVI Staff T-Shirt! As we continue to roll out the newly designed logo, we’re happy to provide staff with a bit of swag as another sign of appreciation for the outstanding work you do. Be sure to get yours ordered by September 8th.
The City of Austin will be working on streets on the north side of campus starting as early as today. They will be along Sunshine Drive, West 49th Street, and Grover Avenue. Work includes adding bike lanes, parking pockets, and pedestrian crossing islands at a few locations.
We just received word that we have four employees receiving national awards in October from the Principals of School for the Blind (POSB), a subset of the Council of Schools and Services for the Blind (COSB). Congratulations on your recognition!!! Award winners are:

Due to the Labor Day Holiday there will be no Electrifying News next week. However, if you happen to see Bernie Smith on September 7th, that’s her official 50 year anniversary with TSBVI, so be sure to give her a shout out.
Have a great week!
