Electrifying News – Happy Valentines’ Day!
Congrats to the Kansas City Chiefs fans on campus! You can’t beat a Super Bowl that goes into overtime. Tuesday is Mardi Gras, which means Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. Wednesday is also Valentines’ Day and students will enjoy a dance in the evening. Chinese New Year was celebrated Saturday, February 10th, as we welcome the Year of the Dragon.
Tuesday at 7:00 PM, Family Lynx will be hosting a Zoom meeting to discuss adult housing. Families and staff are welcome to attend. TSBVI is also celebrating “Random Acts of Kindness Week.” There will be kindness cards placed around campus for inspiration. Help our students celebrate by modeling kindness this week and every week at TSBVI.
The grounds crew has asked for consideration when parking by not pulling forward too far to cover the grass. They have a hard time maintaining the lawn when vehicles cover any grassy areas.
This weekend students will leave on Thursday and return to campus on Monday. Friday will be a staff development day and Monday is Presidents’ Day, a holiday for staff and students. Due to the holiday, there will be no Electrifying News next week.
