Electrifying News – Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s the event we’ve all been waiting for…the Thanksgiving Parade!!! Cheer on our students and wish them a happy holiday on Wednesday, the 19th, starting about 10:00a. Following the parade, the cafeteria will host our annual Thanksgiving Dinner during lunch.
TSBVI-Giving will be offered at the amazing price of $4 per plate, so you don’t want to miss it. Thanks to our cafeteria staff for their commitment to ensuring everyone at TSBVI can have a traditional meal. Step right up for smoked turkey with homemade dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, gravy, cranberry sauce, hot rolls and vegan tofurkey available, too!
The Thanksgiving holiday for school staff and students will be 11/24 – 11/28. There are many facility projects underway on the 24th and 25th and therefore departments working may be remote. 11/25 is an Agency Holiday and the 27th and 28th are State Holidays. There will be no Electrifying News next week.
Personally, I am thankful for TSBVI and the ways you each impact my life in such positive ways. The staff, families, and students provide a culture and community that is worthy of gratitude and we’re all lucky to be part of this important work. I appreciate you all and wish you a restful Thanksgiving filled with love from family and friends.
