Electrifying News – Happy Thanksgiving!
Family Day was a big success! Thanks to the planning committee and to each of you who made the event meaningful for our students and families. The cafeteria provided a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner and breakfast, too! Special shout out to Family Lynx for the butterfly garden mural project, family dinner, and for supporting the work on our campus.
Spirit Week is happening now and staff are welcome to participate. Today is pajama day, tomorrow is crazy hair day, Wednesday is twin day, and Thursday is school spirit day. The students’ annual Thanksgiving Day Parade will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday and start in the quad. I hope everyone will stop by and cheer as the colorful parade goes by.
The TSBVI Board of Trustees will be back on campus Thursday and Friday. The meeting agenda can be found on our website. Thursday will be a team building activity with campus administration and on Friday the Board will convene to discuss programs and more.
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no Electrifying News next week. As a reminder, Wednesday is an Agency Holiday and Thursday and Friday are State Holidays. I wish you all a safe, restful, and happy holiday. As the saying goes, when I count my blessings, I count TSBVI twice.
