Electrifying News – Happy Halloween!
It’s spooooooky season! TSBVI has numerous Halloween events happening this week. On Tuesday, Oct. 28th, the Delta Gamma volunteers will again be hosting Trunk-or-Treat on campus from 6-7p. On Wednesday, Oct. 29th, our Halloween party will be from 5-8:30p in the Quad and/or Rec. On October 30th, the Residential Department is bringing back the Haunted House to be held in dorm 576 from 7-8:15 with the line-up starting at 6:45p.
The Health Center is holding a pumpkin decorating contest if you’d like to stop by and check it out this week. Their assignment was a “clever take on a medical diagnosis,” which sounds spooky for sure. On Friday, you’ll find many departments dressing up for Halloween.
This weekend, Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) will also be celebrated. Spanish Club has created an ofrenda in the rec building with recordings you can listen to by checking out a PenFriend through the recreation department. Learn more about Dia De Los Muertos through our local Mexic-Arte Museum.
Tuesday, November 4th, is the general and special election. Early voting is open now! Information for Travis County can be found here, Williamson County here,Bastrop County here, Hays County here, and Burnet county here.
