Electrifying News – Farmers Market and More
We have a busy week at TSBVI! On Tuesday, February 11th, Family Lynx will be hosting a general meeting at 7:00p in Zoom. Lynx Leader Barbara Knighton will be speaking about her experiences going through transition to adulthood with her 20 year old son Joshua. All are welcome.
On Wednesday, the Wildcat Heart Challenge will be in the gym from 2:15 – 3:50p. Also in the gym, the Farmers Market will take place from 2:30 – 3:30p. Come by for a little exercise and some student-made goodies.
On Thursday, school releases at 1:10p and it’s a travel day for students. Staff will be participating in professional development on Friday, February 14th. Breakfast tacos will be provided in the Bistro and pancakes are being donated by Snooze. Please see an email from Daniel Wheeler for more information about Friday.
Save the date for our Black History Month Luncheon on Wednesday, February 19th! Stop by the cafeteria for BBQ chicken, smoked sausage links, BBQ ribs, garlic mashed potatoes and more. There will be no salad bar that day and meals will remain $4 each. Following lunch, we’ll be showing Six Triple Eight from Netflix in the Auditorium starting at 12:20p.
Monday we will be celebrating Presidents’ Day and there will be no school and our offices will be closed. Due to the holiday, there will be no Electrifying News next week. As a reminder, TSBVI will be testifying today at the Senate Finance Committee meeting downtown.
Have a great week and Happy Valentines’ Day!
