Electrifying News – Don’t Miss The Big Show!
Family Lynx will hold their Holiday Zoom meeting at 7pm on Tuesday the 13th. The Holiday Farmers Market will be held in the Career Ed Building 607 on Wednesday the 14th at 2:15pm. Also, don’t miss the Big Show on Friday at 9:40am in the Auditorium. You can also watch it live on our website. It’s the best!
The Leo Club is collecting colorful socks and coloring books for those receiving cancer treatment. TSBVI Students are also collecting toys for Operation Blue Santa. Collection boxes can be found throughout campus. Please drop off donations this week.
Have you noticed there are many posters and flyers around campus? They can be difficult to discover even when they have braille stickers. In order to provide equitable access to information for our staff, our Accessibility Committee created an information kiosk in the LRC. The kiosk is a 3 ring binder on the table to the left inside the door of the LRC. In the kiosk we have consolidated any materials posted (event announcements, emergency procedures, etc.) in accessible form (braille and large print).
TSBVI Outreach recently published their fall edition of Texas Senseabilities. This now entirely online magazine is full of articles relevant to families and professionals. I recommend you check it out.
