Electrifying News – Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Campus Activities Campus updates Diversity

Happy New Year, TSBVI! I hope you’ve each reflected on 2022 and designed a few ideas for 2023. Whatever your aspirations, may they bring you happiness and a sense of accomplishment.

On Monday, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. My favorite of his quotes remains to be: “I have the audacity to believe that peoples everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality, and freedom for their spirits.” Perhaps each of us can believe this in 2023 and aspire to make it happen.

There will be no school on Monday and students will be traveling. Thanks to those of you working to safely bring them back to campus. Due to the holiday, the next Electrifying News will be January 23rd.

Welcome back to the second half of our school year. I’ve told many of you that I’ve missed seeing you around campus and it’s the honest truth. I am happy to see you return.

Have a great week!
Emily Coleman, Superintendent
