Electrifying News – Braille Challenge This Week!

Today is Texas Independence Day! A state holiday celebrating Texas’ Declaration of Independence from Mexico signed in 1836. March also recognizes Women’s History Month with International Women’ s Day on March 8th.
Daylight savings time is coming up on March 8th, too. Don’t forget to set those clocks forward one hour, stealing some of our precious sleep. At least that’s how I’m seeing it.
The Braille Challenge will be on campus this week on Thursday. Students from around the area will be joining us to put their braille knowledge and skills to work. Best of luck to the competitors!
