Electrifying News – Board Meeting Friday
Congratulations to TSBVI goalball teams for their silver medal over the weekend. Three cheers to AJ and Chris for making the Allstar team. Go Wildcats!
The TSBVI Board of Trustees will be meeting on campus later this week. They will have orientation for new board members and a training session on Thursday. The regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Friday at 10:15a in the boardroom of Building 600 with committee meetings starting at 8a. We’ll be recognizing TSBVI retirees and student performance on STAAR testing. The full agendas can be found online.
We have another change in our HR department and are welcoming a new Director, Toni Stuckey, as of today. Toni is a Human Resources professional with 30 years of generalist and management experience and enjoys music, baking, and traveling. She looks forward to the opportunity to contribute to our team. We’re excited to have her at TSBVI.
Finally, Marcus Cardwell notified me that a new species of wildcat was recently discovered in Bolivia! This is the first new wildcat species in over 100 years and is about 3 pounds, smaller than an average housecat, with leopard-like extra-large spots.
