Electrifying News – Black History Month
The first bit of news this week is that I’m delayed in getting you the news! Forgive me for letting it slip my mind on a very busy Monday. This week’s leadership example is that everybody makes mistakes, which definitely includes me.
As we’ve entered February, we celebrate Black History Month. Our campus Black Heritage Celebration will take place on Wednesday, February 28th. This will include a luncheon in the cafeteria, essays in the Overlook room, and a movie in the Auditorium. More information to come.
On Wednesday, tomorrow, we have the Farmer’s Market in the Quad from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm. We also have the Wildcat Heart Challenge happening in the Big Gym from 2:30 pm – 3:45 pm. You can donate to the American Heart Association by using the following link.
The 2024 Braille Challenge will take place Saturday on campus. Best of luck to students competing from across the state! Thanks to staff supporting and coordinating student participation in this empowering event.
Have a great week!
