Please remember the speed limit on campus is 10 mph and this is especially important when driving golf carts or watching out for those carts. As a reminder, please keep carts off the grass unless there is a critical transportation need for students. Allowable golf cart travel areas are indicated on the Campus Cart Route Map within the campus info site. We are also working on map revisions and will update campus when ready.

With Dan Hampton’s upcoming retirement, we have selected a new Information Resources Director. Scott Brackett, longtime TSBVI employee, will be stepping into the Director role on April 1st. Congrats to Scott, Dan, and the IR team!

Finally, the Texas Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (TAER) will be holding their annual conference later this week in Denton, TX. TSBVI will be represented through attendance, exhibiting, and presenting. Safe travels to all.

Have a great week!
