About Our Webinars

Tips for participating in a webinar.

Outreach hosts a number of webinars via Adobe Connect that are scheduled throughout the year.  These include both one-time topical webinars and regularly occurring “study groups” focused on  a specific topic.

Once you have registered for the webinar, you will be sent a link to enter the webinar broadcast. As long as you have internet access and a phone, you may join in from anywhere. To enter the webinar, select "GUEST" and include your full name in the box provided. You may choose to have a camera and microphone for your computer if you want to participate, though you can make comments using the "chat" feature and have full access to the audio portion without these devices.

Whether one or several people are viewing the webinar in a single location, you should download the sign-in roster, have each person attending sign in and then email it to Carrie Keith () or fax to her at 512-206-9314 after the webinar is complete.  In order to receive CEUs we must have a sign-in record and a completed on-line evaluation.

If you need help to join our webinars, contact Kate Hurst at  or 512-206-9224.

Some of our webinars are available for delayed viewing, and you may receive continuing education credit (ACVREP or SBEC) for these events.  However, the menu of titles changes from year to year as information becomes dated and new broadcasts are added.  To determine if a particular webinar is available for CE credit, look for the astrick  (*) symbol beside the title.

Webinar Evaluation

Please complete the appropriate online evaluation and your certificate will be emailed to you.  The links are listed below.  If you are having problems completing the online evaluation, you may download the Webinar Evaluation File, print and complete it, and email or fax to Carrie Keith ( or 512-206-9314).  Your certificate(s) will be emailed to you.

  • Complete the Evaluation
  • Delayed Viewing Evaluation  Please note, you will be given parts of a code at various intervals in the broadcast that will be needed on the evaluation in order to obtain a certificate.  You will combine these numbers in sequence to create a number between 120,000 and 140,000.  Be sure to listen for these numbers and make a note of them.
