Texas Visually Impaired Outreach

The Visually Impaired Outreach team works with families, professionals and paraprofessionals involved in the life of students witih visual impairments or visual and multiple impairments (ages birth thru 21).  Our services include consultation to schools and programs, assistance with local and regional workshops and conferences, consultation to the family at their home, development of training materials including distance learning materials, loan of technology, coordination of the VI Registry and the dissemination of APH materials.  We also provide workshops, conferences, videoconferences (TETN), and webinars for the state on a variety of topics related to students with visual impairments.
