Saving Scanned Documents

Open file menu with Alt+F. Arrow down to Save as or type a to move directly to the Save as option.

Name your file, select file format, select location to be saved, then strike Enter to save the file.

The Save as box opens with the cursor in the "name file" box, ready for you to name the file. You can type in the location before the file name (a:\notes) then strike Enter to save.  This is an easy method when saving to disk but can become complicated if saving to folders on the hard drive.

You can move around the dialog box by striking Tab to move forward or Shift + Tab to move back. The arrow keys will move you through choices in list boxes or combo boxes or you can strike the first letter of what you want. The space bar will select a file choice in the list control box. Holding the Alt key down and striking the underlined letter will move you directly to an option. Striking Enter at anytime will save the file as defined.
