Optical Devices for Individuals with Low Vision

Students with low vision benefit greatly from the use of a wide range of optical devices that include monoculars, telescopes, bioptics, hand-held magnifiers, prisms and so forth.  A good low vision exam done by a low vision specialist is done to determine exactly how the individual can use his or her vision and what devices may work best for the individual.
