2008 SUMMER SCHOOL

Deadline for Summer School Application has passed!!

This year all applications must be filled out and submitted online (not filled out on paper and mailed in as before). Only one person can complete the online version, and this should be the student’s teacher. Parents still have a role in making decisions, as described below.

Any visually impaired student can apply for our summer programs. It does not require an ARD or district referral. There is no cost to the district or parent, although parents need to assure transportation to and from Austin. Parents, please contact your child’s VI or other teacher and let them know you want them to fill out an application for your child to attend a summer program.

Teachers do need to collect information from parents, so we have included Worksheets to do this. Parents also need to help decide classes to apply for. They can either read about classes online or get a print copy from the teacher. If you need a Spanish version, please call Cathy Olsen at 512-206-9182.

Parents, please contact your child's teacher for assistance filling out this application.
