In Wildcat Catering, students operate a real catering service here on campus, preparing delicious foods, taking orders, and delivering it to wildly appreciative customers!

Students will have fun exploring an exciting career, while developing potential work skills in such areas as:

• Hospitality: interacting effectively with customers, taking telephone orders, delivery
• Food Preparation: making food items such as sandwiches, wraps, salad plates, muffins, cookies, tea, lemonade, coffee
• Knowledge about Food: food hygiene, healthy vs. unhealthy food, foods that travel well
• Managing Business and Personal Finance: budgeting, shopping, making change, determining profit

Visits to a variety of local businesses will provide even more exploration of possible future careers.
