Students must be able to attend all three classes:

  • Part A: September 9 - 12

  • Part B: October 14 - 17

  • Part C: November 11 - 14

The "Tech Tools,” and “Math Masters" series classes are designed to offer short and repeated instruction for elementary students in grades 2-5 who are tactual learners. Each class is formatted for 2 or 3 students. Students can attend only one section (math or technology).

 

Literacy STAARs 

Grades 3 - 5 

This series class is designed for print readers in grades 3-5 who will be taking the Reading and/or Writing STAAR tests in the spring. This program is designed to improve knowledge and skills in the area of literacy and test-taking strategies through integrated activities.

 

  • Students arrive on Sundays and depart on Wednesdays.
  • Students must attend all three sessions – absolutely no exceptions. Please confirm with families and school before submitting a referral. Skill maintenance is the primary goal for this program.

Students’ local TVIs must commit to collaborating with the TSBVI TVI between each session, in order to maintain skills. Activities can be individually tailored to your unique situation, and could include tasks such as: watching and creating/sharing videos, phone discussions, developing strategies to support the student, etc.
