Ingredients:

  • 5 lbs. potatoes, peeled and cut

  • 1 stick butter

  • ¾ cup milk

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Peel and quarter potatoes.

  2. Cook covered in a small amount of boiling salted water for 25 minutes.

  3. Drain.

  4. Add margarine.

  5. Salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed.

  7. Beat in milk (add more if necessary) to make potatoes light and fluffy.
